Router (linux+WLAN_AP_asus500g based)
\------WLAN qtek 9000 [OK]
[Fail]

Hi, I'm going to Oglethorpe University, and one of my 4 courses is Business Law I.

Well, as I do have a long-lasting interest in politics, as well as in computer technology, this particular class has inspired me to concoct this particular idea that combines law and open source in a potentially earth-shaking manner. This is what I was writing just a few minutes ago:

The anthropomorphism continues...

Kai-Fu Lee's testimony in the Google-Microsoft trial clarifies some points made in his deposition about MS's failures and setbacks in China.

Today `Lee testified that one of the lowest moments of his career with Microsoft was a conversation in which Gates yelled at him and said the company had been "f-----" by the Chinese people and its government. Lee did not clarify the context of Gates' comments.'

According to Lee's declaration on August 30, Ballmer shook hands with the Chinese government several years back on a $100M outsourcing plus $20M investment deal that senior management found it hard to live up to, and so they amended it to $55M in jobs and $60M in investments in Chinese IT. The filing further explains that a major part of Lee's work on MS's international business since coming back to the states has been keeping MS from committing further missteps, and that internal power struggles among up to 20 Microsoft groups vying for control in China were one of the major reasons he left for Google.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer
(c) 2005 Sydney Morning Herald

Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer vowed to "kill" internet search leader Google Inc. in an obscenity-laced tirade, and Google chased a prized Microsoft executive "like wolves," according to documents filed in an increasingly bitter legal battle between the rivals.

"Penguin-suited activists crash Microsoft's Berlin parliament presentation."

From the article: "They even managed to sneak in a PowerBook and deliver an audio stream via UMTS mobile internet connection."
